Responsible Play & Self-Exclusion
Last updated: June 22, 2026
ProScrim is a platform for skill-based competitive gaming. While ProScrim is a game of skill rather than chance, real money is involved, and we want everyone to play in a way that stays fun, intentional, and within their means. This Policy explains how to play responsibly and the tools we offer to help.
Play Within Your Means
- Only enter matches with funds you can afford to lose. Treat entry fees as the cost of competition, not as an investment or a way to make money.
- Set personal limits on how much time and money you spend, and stick to them.
- Don’t play to recover losses (“chasing”), and don’t play while upset, tired, or under the influence.
- Take regular breaks and keep gaming in balance with the rest of your life.
Know the Warning Signs
It may be time to step back if you:
- spend more time or money than you intended, or than you can afford;
- feel anxious, irritable, or preoccupied when not playing;
- play to escape problems or to chase losses;
- hide your play from, or it causes conflict with, people close to you.
Tools We Offer
- Cooling-off period — request a temporary pause on entering paid matches for a set period.
- Self-exclusion — request that we block your account from paid matches for a longer period or indefinitely.
- Account closure — request to close your account entirely.
How to Request a Cooling-Off or Self-Exclusion
Email support@proscrim.com from the email on your account and tell us whether you want a cooling-off period, self-exclusion, or account closure, and for how long. We will apply it as soon as reasonably practicable. During a cooling-off or self-exclusion period, you will not be able to enter paid matches; you may still withdraw your available, unrestricted balance subject to our Terms and verification. We will not lift a self-exclusion before the period you requested has ended, and we may require a waiting period and a confirmation step before reinstating paid access afterward.
Protecting Minors
ProScrim is strictly for adults who meet the minimum age for their jurisdiction (at least 18, and higher in some states). If someone under that age may have access to your devices, please use parental controls and keep your login credentials private.
